Client:
A hospital system rated one of the hundred best health systems in the nation, wanted to further differentiate themselves from their competitors in terms of effectiveness of their durable medical equipment company, regional lab services, and outpatient therapy department.

Goal:
Implement a value-added ISO quality system to further improve performance and reduce cost.

Results:
eMRI consultants recommended the implementation of the then newly developed guidelines for process improvements in health service organizations, based on the ISO 9004:2000 standard. eMRI consultants provided all requisite training and consulting to assist the client in developing a value-added quality system.

Thus far, the client has undergone multiple audits, with zero non-conformities, while at the same time increasing their volume and lowering costs. Operations have cut non-value add activities by as much as 30% and identified new work process areas.
